School Parties and Gingerbread Houses

I always go volunteer in the kids classes but I love going for their class parties. It's hard to go to all the parties since they some of them are at the same time so I try to go to 2 of them and we rotate holidays. For Christmas I went to Taylor and Lily's class. I was in charge of the treat for Taylor's class so we made donut snowmen. I love how Taylor is so excited to have me come. I can't believe this is the last year I'll be able to help out for her class. We made candy cane reindeer for Lily's class. So much fun to spend time with my girls. I tried to go over to Ella's class but they had already cleaned up and were ready to go home and start Christmas Break! I thought it would be fun over the break to make gingerbread houses. I've never made homemade gingerbread houses before and was surprised at how fun it was. A lot of work but well worth the effort. I planned to do it for FHE but Andy worked too late. The end of the year is crazy busy for Andy at work so after a few days of him working late we just went ahead and made them without him. Next year we'll do them on the Sunday before Christmas so he can join us.
