It's no secret that I'm not a big fan of snow. I've been a happy girl since our snow season started much later this year. But holy snow!! It has been making up for lost time. It took me over 40 minutes this morning to take Braden to school and get back home. {The plowing of roads in our town is a joke. Although we only moved a mile away we lived in a different city last year and I guess they have a better budget for plowing the roads because I don't remember this being such an issue.} I have been pleasantly surprised at how much better the kids have done with the snow this year. Last year they would go out for a minute. Ok, I'm exaggerating. It was more like 15 seconds and they would be in tears. On Saturday the kids went outside with Andy {I guess I haven't changed much ;)} for almost an hour and they actually had fun playing in it. Andy is really excited to take the kids sledding now that they like it. Braden even mentioned that he wanted to learn how to ski. We'll try sledding first.
Here's a picture of Taylor all ready to play in the snow:

Just look at Jen's snow up in Oregon... HOLY! In comparison, maybe you'll feel better about our minimal amounts, though, YES, your city does seem to get a lot more. I think it's the wind and the elevation... Go figure!
I'm with you! NOT a fan of the snow. Sure its fun to sled and such, but i can't stand being cold and I'm absolutely terrified of driving in it.
New Jersey doesn't snow... it "ices".
