On Tuesday, November 25th, in between our trips to Sea World, we went to the San Diego Zoo. All I had heard about the place was how big it was. I think we were anticipating it being so big that we weren't going to be able to see it all. Don't get me wrong, it was big, but not as enormous as I imagined it being (which was a nice surprise). It was a beautiful day. Probably one of the best weather days of the trip. We started the day taking the bus tour that took you around most of the zoo. It was a really nice way to see the zoo with the kids. Not to mention, Ella fell asleep. We walked around the rest of the day seeing the animals. I think one of the highlights was seeing the baby tigers. One of them was standing against the glass and all the kids were right there to see it. But the favorite part of the day was riding the Skyfari Aerial Tram. We rode it three times. On the second ride we noticed a family of gorillas playing which we wouldn't have been able to see from the gorilla exhibit. I think we all could have taken a few more rides but we decided to call it a day and went out to dinner. Afterward, we watched Kung Fu Panda and had ice cream.

Probably one of my favorite animals at the zoo... the Giraffe.

All the kids... except Ella ;)
