Sea World-Morning of Shows

You could pay $170/each and go interact with the dolphins.
We decided to save the money and let our kids watch!

Waiting for Shamu

To begin our trip in California we met up with Jen, Earl, and their kids in San Diego and played for a few days with them.  First stop was Sea World.  We spent most of Monday trying to go see the shows.  The kids did great running from show to show so we could try to see them all.  We spent a lot of time waiting because you had to get there early to get a seat (not necessarily a good one) but with LOTS of snacks the kids did great.  I guess if we weren't too picky we could have walked in a few minutes before the show started and sat in the front row.  For some reason only a few people at the park were interested in sitting in the 'soak zone'.  ;)  We saw the Otter and Sea Lion show, Shamu Show {Believe}, Dolphin Show, a shark exhibit, and a Sesame Street 3-D Movie.  I thought my kids would love the Sesame Street movie because they have never been to the movies but when the seats started spraying water at them they were all crying.  Oops.  We were trying to figure out why the seats were wet before it started!  The kids loved Shamu and the dolphins.  We didn't take too many pictures of the shows because Andy was using the camcorder and I was trying to keep Ella happy!
